Cafeteria Manager Full Time - 40 hours a week, 181 days a year, with benefits Starting salary is $13.86 an hour *All employees must complete a nationwide criminal history Qualifications: 1) High School Diploma 2) Knowledge of Nutrition and Food Preparation 3) Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable. Responsible to: Principal and Food Service Coordinator Job Goal: To plan and provide nutritional meals for the school lunch program. Performance responsibilities: 1. Develop and supervise a school lunch program. 2. Make recommendations to the building Principal concerning employment of lunch service personnel. 3. Supervise an in-service training program for all school lunch personnel. 4. Select with the cooperation and approval of the building Principal, all supplies and equipment necessary to maintain a satisfactory school lunch program. 5. Plan and help prepare meals that meet good nutritional standards. 6. Carry out all regulations of the federal and state governments pertaining to the school lunch program. 7. Collect all money for the school lunch program, keep accurate financial records, and turn in all lunch money to the school treasurer daily. 8. Turns in food orders to Food Director. 9. Check inventory. 10. Supervise and sign time cards and absence reports for kitchen helpers. 11. Duties also include data entry as assigned. 12.
