(4) Speleological Convention Kitchen Helper (Internal Candidates Only) Speleological Convention Kitchen Helper At Corydon Central High School from July 6th to July 10th, 2026 Temporary, No Benefits Working 5 days (June 6-10) for 35 hours. Tentative working hours will be 6:30am-1:30pm. Hours are subject to change based on Speleological Convention meal participation and staff availability. Starting pay is $27 an hour. *All employees must complete a nationwide criminal history upon hire Qualifications: 1) High School Diploma preferred but not required 2) Knowledge of Food Preparation 3) Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable. Responsible to: Cafeteria Manager and Food Services Coordinator Job Goal: To prepare and serve meals for the Speleological Convention and maintain a clean and sufficient kitchen and cafeteria. Performance responsibilities: 1. Assist in the preparation of food for the Speleological Convention at Corydon Central High School. 2. Serve all patrons. 3. Remove used dishes and assist in the cleaning of counters, tables, dishes, and furnishings in the dining and kitchen area. 4. Maintain the trash and garbage collection area in a neat and sanitary fashion. 5. Assist the cafeteria manager with checking inventory of necessary supplies and equipment. 6. Assist the cafeteria manager in meeting all state and federal regulations pertaining to Indiana Food Code 410 IAC 7-26. 7. Perform other such duties as may be assigned by the Food Service Coordinator and/or cafeteria manager. Apply to Job |
