Certified Staff - Job Details
Instructional Coaches Up to 10 hours/week up to September 30 and up to 4 hours/week after September 30. No benefits, $40 per hour *Located at the Following Schools: Corydon Elementary, New Middletown, Heth Washington, South Central Elementary, Corydon Intermediate, Corydon Central Jr High School and High School/South Central Jr/Sr High School Qualifications: Current and valid teaching license At least 15 years of teaching experience at the grade levels of the specific position Leadership and mentor experience (preferred) Job Responsibilities: Model, co-teach, and support the implementation of instructional strategies to promote small group instruction, engagement, and student learning for all students Work directly with teachers, particularly those within their first two years at South Harrison, those on a formal improvement plan, or those recommended by the building principal for targeted assistance, to plan, implement and provide feedback on best instructional practices Work directly with the high ability mentor teacher to focus support in classrooms with high ability students Use data to help develop focus areas for student growth and help teachers use this data to drive instruction Work with paraprofessionals as needed to support classroom partnerships Apply to Job |
