Non-Certified Staff - Job Details
Working between 7:30 and 8:00 AM, and 3:00-3:30 PM Part-time position, no benefits $42.20 an hour *Upon hire, all employees must complete a nationwide criminal history The School Traffic Officer is responsible for ensuring the safe movement of students, pedestrians, and vehicles in and around the Corydon Campus. This role primarily involves assisting students in safely crossing streets on their way to and from school and directing traffic flow to maintain a secure and efficient environment. Key Responsibilities: Direct traffic movement into and out of parking lots using hand signals to ensure a smooth and safe flow. Monitor and guide student actions at non-intersection locations to prevent unsafe crossings. Communicate effectively with students, staff, and drivers to maintain safety and order. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements & Qualifications: Must be physically present and working on-site during assigned hours. Strong communication skills to provide clear instructions to students, pedestrians, and drivers. Reliable attendance and ability to complete assigned workdays consistently. Ability to lift a minimum of 10 pounds. Capable of performing job responsibilities in various weather conditions, including rain, snow, and extreme temperatures. Apply to Job |
